Hi Jay, I like what you say about the Archangels, I hadn't thought of it that way and it makes perfect sense. You've generated a further thought there about taking ownership of Guides of all kinds. Interesting.

Deb, it certainly is confusing at times! Especially when everyone and his dog seem to be in a kerfuffle over channeling, say, Archangel Michael... AA Michael is Omnipresent, coming from Source Energy, so it makes sense that he/she/it can be EVERYWHERE all at once, channeling whatever message at whatever level the medium or her audience are at... it's all wonderful stuff, and as they say, if it floats your boat and makes your spine tingle, and you feel good, then it's for you If not, walk away...

I've had the same thoughts from time-to-time. I've concluded that Guides are also individuals with their own beliefs, understanding and approach.

Isn't all communication difficult though? We misunderstand and mis-translate each other all the time when we're in the same room 2 feet apart, so is it a wonder that we all hear different, conflicting things from our Guides. We get the message over the ether, on a sometimes dodgy connection, that we often have to translate from pictures, impressions and emotions. I think it's a miracle that we get anything at all.

I do agree that the Medium's attitude can skew the message and that it is difficult to know whether the thought is theirs or yours. My general rule of thumb is that if the message is wise, gentle, kind and considerate then it's them. If the message has any edge of anger, criticism or contradiction then take a hard look at the Medium.

I've had a negative message from a Medium's Guide (not) and it had everything to do with her attitude to me and nothing to do with what happened.

I have to say that I don't often question my Guides about things so that I keep them out of the 'battle of the Guides'. I leave them to share wisdom with me when they feel it's necessary. That works for me and helps me avoid the confusion.

Dearest Yvonne, I recently 'channeled' a message on channeling!!! (Ironic, eh? hee hee) It's in here somewhere... I believe, and the more I learn and go through the ascension process, the more I see it, that every being in the Universe has their own truth. And not a jot of it is 'wrong'!

There is a rich diversity of life in the Cosmic Soup of which we are all but a nano-particle, so to speak, and in that case, how can there possibly be just ONE way or ONE truth?

There are billions of Universes and other worlds out there and in here too, and each one of us lives in our own version of it... our own perceptions are directly related to our own energies.

The wonderful Richard Bach in my all-time favourite book of his, 'Illusions' had his character, Donald Shimoda, quoting something similar in his role as reluctant Messiah!

We create our own reality and our own path in life, according to goodness knows how many factors.

Even the ones who come in here and disagree or cause disharmony have their truth. It's not the same as mine or yours or other peoples', but it is valid nonetheless. And it is valid because of the fact that Contrast has always been in evidence. Dark versus Light, in other words. We cannot know what we want unless we know first what we don't want.

All of this might seem to be a bit of a ramble, but my point is that every single life form in the Multiverse and beyond is simply Being, Existing, Evolving, Expanding and Growing. It has been scientifically proven, apparently, that the Universe has indeed expanded... not sure what the basis for comparison is, as I'm not scientifically minded, but it's fascinating all the same, as it resonates with me as being 'A Truth'...

In the end, all we can do is evolve, and try not to judge others for being different from us, and know that there is no 'wrong' or 'right', there just IS! And what is my truth today, will likely have evolved to a more harmonised understanding tomorrow, and so on...

Gosh, I hope I have helped here... it was my intention to clarify for myself one of the answers to your question (and of course there are many)...
